What it is

A small power bank that clips onto the keys or a bag with its carabiner. Inside is a 1200 mAh battery, for some extra charge on a phone when there is no socket nearby: at work, on a trip, in the car.

It refills in three ways: from a computer or a tablet with the USB cable, from a wall socket through a mains adapter, or through the solar panel on its front. Daylight works, and so does strong artificial light — a lamp or a bulb — as soon as the light is bright enough for it to start charging.

At one end, three LEDs make a small torch for the lock of the front door or the bottom of a bag. It measures 7 × 4 × 1.4 cm and weighs 70 g.
