What it is

A small tag, 5.2 × 3.1 × 1 cm, that hangs on a key ring, a bag or a pet's collar and pairs with a smartphone over Bluetooth through a free app, for Android 4.3 or later and for iOS. Within a range of up to 25 metres, a tap in the app makes the tag ring, so keys left under a cushion or in a coat are found by ear.

If the phone and the tag lose touch, the app shows on its map the place where the connection was last seen. Press the button on the tag as you leave the car and the app saves where it is parked. One phone can follow up to ten tags at once.

The tag works over Bluetooth, so it finds things within Bluetooth range. It runs on a battery.

The main points

  • Bluetooth, range up to 25 m

  • Button on the tag to save where the car is parked
  • Free app for Android 4.3 or later and iOS; up to 10 tags on one phone
  • 5.2 × 3.1 × 1 cm, battery-powered
