What it is

This set is two pieces: a camping lantern and a handheld torch.

The lantern has three LED panels that fold out around its body, so the light can be aimed and spread over a wider area. It charges from its solar panel or over USB and keeps the charge in a built-in battery, so it works far from any socket: in a tent or a summer house, on the terrace, in the garage, the workshop or the cellar, or at home when the power goes. It has several light modes, a remote control and a casing made for use outdoors.

The torch gives a strong, focused beam for a walk, a bike ride, the car or a repair after dark. It is rechargeable over USB, and its body keeps out water and dust.

The box also holds what both need to charge: a power cable, a charging cradle for the torch battery, a battery adapter, a car charger and a mains charger.
